I am not going to lie, during my first trimester with my first pregnancy, I couldn't even walk past a candle or it would make me gag! This pregnancy was much easier on my stomach and I loved the smell of burning candles. These four in particular!
The mercury one is called Capri Blue and is from Anthropologie. I first smelled this at my friend's house and had to have it. Capri smells like tropical fruits and is strong enough to smell the whole house up. They make them in a bunch of different finishes and I chose mercury because it matches the decor in my house best. It retails for about $28.00.
The next candle is also from Anthropologie and is made by Voluspa. This scent is called Gogi Tarocco Orange. This one has a sweet and spicy scent that has a little more of a musk to it. I like to light this one in the kitchen and it burns for hours. This retails for $26.00.
The third candle is more for the person who loves vanilla or sweet cake scents. It is Whipped Cream and Pear and definitely has that light whipped cream note to it. I love burning this one in the bathroom and it is also from Anthropologie. This candle also retails for $26.00.
Lastly is Voluspa Coeur De Cassis from Nordstrom's. This scent is different from all of the others. This one smells like berries, plums, and twigs. It makes for the perfect Fall or Winter candle! This candle retails for 16.00 and as always, Nordstrom's offers free shipping.
If you are tired of the candles you have at home, need a gift for someone, or are ready to try something new, you can't go wrong with any of these. Be prepared to have guests constantly ask about them!
